There are many different kinds of addictions out there. Such as drugs, alcohol, and even addictions to gambling or even compulsive shopping! And there is a way out!! Twelve-step programs are unfortunatly not a very good source to get off of drugs or anyother kind of addiction because on average they only have a 30 something pecent success rate. Addicts need a rehab that has a higher success

I have been there done that, wrote the book and read back over it. I know what it takes to get away from addiction to any substance/drug. People need a rehab with a high success rate and life

How do you choose? Choose first by whether or not they give drugs or have psychiatrists on staff. The first one doesn't make sense if you are trying to recover from addiction and the second -- well, first, psychiatrists give a lot of drugs, that is their solution to problems.
